ITA Preliminarily Determines SKF Aeroengine is Successor-in-Interest to SNFA

In this changed circumstances review, the ITA preliminarily determines that SKF Aeroengine is the successor-in-interest to SNFA. Consequently, the ITA preliminarily determines that SKF Aeroengine should be assigned the same AD duty treatment as SNFA (currently zero). (See ITT's Online Archives or 08/15/00 news, 00081520, for BP summary of the final results of administrative review establishing SNFA's AD duty rate.)

(In the final results of the 2006-2007 administrative review, ITA determined that post-acquisition SNFA was the successor-in-interest to pre-acquisition SNFA and that SNFA had not changed its name to SKF Aeroengine. See ITT's Online Archives or 09/19/08 news, 08091940, for BP summary of the administrative review final results.

See the ITA's Decision Memorandum regarding SNFA's successorship at http://ia.ita.doc.gov/frn/summary/MULTIPLE/E8-21137-1.pdf.)

The ITA notes that during the course of this changed circumstances review, it will not change any cash deposit requirements on entries of merchandise subject to the AD duty order unless a change is determined to be warranted pursuant to the final results of this review.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, etc.

See ITT's Online Archives or 03/31/09 news, 09033150, for BP summary of the ITA's initiation of this changed circumstances review.)
