ITA Postpones CV Preliminary Determination to August 28th

The ITA initiated this CV duty investigation and requested comments on the applicability of CV duty law to imports from Vietnam in April 2009.

The ITA may postpone making the preliminary determination until no later than 130 days after the date of initiation of the investigation if, among other reasons, petitioner makes a timely request for such an extension. In this investigation, the petitioner made such a request for a postponement until 130 days after April 20, 2009.

Therefore, the ITA is fully extending the due date for the preliminary determination. The deadline for the completion of the preliminary determination is now August 28, 2009.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, etc.

See ITT's Online Archives or 04/27/09 news, 09042745, for BP summary of the ITA's initiation of this investigation and request for comments on application of CV duty law to Vietnam Imports.)
