Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (05/01/07 - 04/30/08)
The ITA intends to issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 15 days after May 15, 2009. The ITA has calculated importer-specific duty assessment rates for subject merchandise.
The ITA adds that for entries of subject merchandise during the review period produced by Borusan for which Borusan did not know that the merchandise it sold to the intermediary (e.g., a reseller, trading company, or exporter) was destined for the U.S., the ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate unreviewed entries at the all-others rate if there is no rate for the intermediary involved in the transaction.
