CV: India Commodity Matchbooks
The International Trade Administration has made a preliminary affirmative countervailing duty determination that countervailable subsidies are being provided to producers and exporters of commodity matchbooks from India.

CV suspension of liquidation.The ITA is directing U.S. Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation (for CV duty purposes) of all entries of commodity matchbooks from India with a time of entry on or after April 6, 2009.
CV cash deposit/bond. The ITA will also instruct CBP to require a cash deposit or the posting of a bond at the CV rates listed below for entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after April 6, 2009 for the following producers/exporters:

Final CV Duty Determination Aligned with Final AD Duty Determination
The ITA is also aligning the final CV duty determination with the final determination in the companion antidumping investigation of commodity matchbooks from India. The final CV duty determination will be issued on the same date as the final AD duty determination, which is currently scheduled to be issued no later than August 10, 2009, unless postponed.
