CV/AD: Argentina, Korea Ni-Resist Piston Inserts/India Commodity Matchbooks
The International Trade Administration has issued notices that it is postponing the preliminary determinations in the countervailing duty investigations of ni-resist piston inserts from Argentina and Korea and the antidumping duty investigation of commodity matchbooks from India.

ITA Postpones Argentina, Korea CV Investigations to June 29th
Due to the number and complexity of the alleged subsidy programs at issue in the Korea CV investigation and in light of the new subsidy allegations at issue in the Argentina countervailing investigation, the ITA finds that it requires additional time to complete the preliminary determinations in the respective investigations.
Therefore, it is fully extending the due date for the preliminary CV determinations for ni-resist piston inserts from Argentina and Korea to no later than 130 days after the day on which the investigations were initiated. The deadline for completion of these preliminary CV determinations is now June 29, 2009.
ITA Postpones India AD Investigation to May 27th
In the AD investigation of commodity matchbooks from India, the ITA states that the petitioner requested that the determination be extended due to the complexities of the case and the difficulty in obtaining useable information from the sole respondent, Triveni
Safety Matches Pvt. Ltd. Therefore, for the reasons identified by the petitioner and because there are no compelling reasons to deny the request, the ITA is postponing the preliminary AD determination in this investigation until May 27, 2009.
