AD: Japan Polychloroprene Rubber

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of its antidumping duty changed circumstances review of polychloroprene rubber from Japan and is partially revoking the AD duty order with respect to certain solid polychloroprenes.

AD Order Scope Amended, Partially Revoked for Certain Solid Polychlorprenes

The ITA is partially revoking and amending the scope of the AD duty order on polychloroprene rubber from Japan to exclude the following:

Solid polychloroprenes that are dipolymers of chloroprene and methacrylic acid having methacrylic acid comonomer content in the 0.2 percent to 5.0 percent range (this category does not include aqueous chloroprene/methacrylic acid diploymer dispersion products or solvent solutions of chloroprene/methacrylic acid dipolymers).

Liquidation, Refund of AD Duties for Excluded Solid Polychloroprenes

The ITA will instruct the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to liquidate without regard to AD duties, as applicable, and to refund any estimated AD duties collected for all unliquidated entries of certain polychloroprene rubber meeting the above specifications for exclusion, as of October 31, 2008.
