(a),(b),(c)

(a) The AD duty cash deposit rate for China exporters who received a separate rate in a prior segment of the proceeding will continue to be the rate assigned in that segment of the proceeding;

(b) For all other China exporters of subject merchandise which have not been found to be entitled to a separate rate (including Wuhu Qinshi, Jiangsu Light, QMD, and IMA), the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the China-wide entity rate of $2.06 per-kilogram; and

(c) For all non-China exporters of subject merchandise, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the China supplier of that exporter.

1For the final results of this review, the ITA proposed a new methodology to calculate per-kilogram cash deposit rates for non-selected separate entities and for the China-wide entity.

2The China-wide entity includes Wuhu Qinshi Tangye Co., Ltd.; Jiangsu Light Industry Products Imp & Exp (Group) Corp.; Qinhuangdao Municipal Dafeng Industrial Co., Ltd.; and Inner Mongolia Altin Bee-Keeping.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (12/01/05 - 11/30/06)

The ITA states that it intends to issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 15 days after July 21, 2008.

For assessment purposes, where possible, the ITA calculated importer-specific assessment rates for honey from the China on a per-unit basis. The ITA will direct CBP to levy importer-specific assessment rates based on the resulting per-unit (i.e., per-kilogram) rates by the weight in kilograms of each entry of the subject merchandise during the review period.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, the rescission of the review for QHD Sanhai Honey Co., Ltd., etc.

See ITT's Online Archives or 02/13/08 news, 07021325, for BP summary of the preliminary results of this AD duty administrative review.)
