ITA is Postponing Preliminary Determination Due to Request by Petitioners

On June 6, 2008, the ITA received a request from petitioners, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Cargill, and Tate & Lyle Americas, Inc. to postpone the preliminary determination of the CV duty investigation of subject merchandise from China.

The ITA may postpone the preliminary determination until no later than 130 daysafter the date on which the administering authority initiated the investigation, if the petitioner makes a timely request for an extension of the period.

As this requirement was met, the ITA is extending the due date for the preliminary determination by 65 days to no later than September 12, 2008.
