Respondents Requested Postponement in China, Brazil Investigations
DuPont Teijin Films China Limited, which is the sole active mandatory respondent in the China investigation, along with certain named affiliates, and Terphane Ltda., the sole mandatory respondent in the Brazil investigation, requested extensions of the final determinations and extensions of the provisional measures.
As the ITA's preliminary determinations in the China and Brazil investigations were affirmative, and these respondents account for significant proportions of exports of the subject merchandise, and no compelling reasons for denial exist, the ITA is postponing the final determinations in these investigations until no later than September 17, 2008.
Petitioners Requested Postponement in Thailand Investigation
In the Thailand investigation, the petitioners, DuPont Teijin Films, Mitsubishi Polyester Film of America, Inc., SKC, Inc. and Toray Plastics (America), Inc., requested an extension of the final determination.
As the request for extension in the Thailand investigation was made by petitioners, because the preliminary determination in the Thailand investigation was negative, and no compelling reasons for denial exist, the ITA is also postponing the final determination in the Thailand investigation until no later than September 17, 2008.
