Respondent Requested Postponement of Final Determination, Extension of Provisional Measures
The ITA states that the respondent, Delta EMD Australia Pty Ltd., requested postponement of the final determination and extension of the provisional measures from a four-month period to not longer than six months.
Thus, because the ITA's preliminary determination was affirmative, and the requesting exporter accounts for a significant portion of exports of the subject merchandise in this investigation and it requested the extension of the provisional measures, and no compelling reasons for denial exist, the ITA is extending the deadline for issuance of the final determination to August 8, 2008, which is 135 days after the date of publication of the preliminary determination in the Federal Register.
