Postponement of Due Date for Preliminary Determination
The ITA may postpone the preliminary determination until no later than 130 days after the date on which the administering authority initiated the investigation, if it concludes that the parties concerned in the investigation are cooperating and determines that the investigation is extraordinarily complicated.
Due to the number and complexity of the alleged countervailable subsidy practices being investigated, it is not practicable to complete the preliminary determination of this investigation within the original time limit (i.e., by April 24, 2008).
Accordingly, the ITA is postponing the due date for this preliminary determination to no later than June 30, 2008.
(See ITT's Online Archives or 02/26/08 and 02/27/08 news, 08022635 and 08022730, for BP summaries of the ITA's initiation of the CV and antidumping duty investigations for circular welded austenitic stainless pressure pipe from China, respectively.)

BP Note
The ITA's Federal Register notice states that this is an amended postponement of preliminary results; however, the original postponement was never published. The ITA is issuing this postponement and correcting an error in the deadline for completion of the final determination, which was discovered after the notice's release on March 27, 2008, but prior to its Federal Register publication.
