AD: China Sodium Hexametaphosphate

The International Trade Administration has published its antidumping duty order on sodium hexametaphosphate from China.

Suspension of liquidation (with gap period for March 11-17, 2008).The ITA states that it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to terminate the suspension of liquidation and to liquidate, without regard to AD duties, unliquidated entries of sodium hexametaphosphate from China with a time of entry from March 11, 2008 through March 17, 2008.

Suspension of liquidation continues from September 14, 2007 - March 10, 2008, and resumes on or after March 18, 2008 (the date of publication of the International Trade Commission's final injury determination in the Federal Register).

(The ITA is taking this action pursuant to Section 733(d) of the Tariff Act of 1930, which indicates that suspension of liquidation based on a preliminary determination may only remain in effect for four months, except where an extension is requested under certain circumstances, and in this case, the ITA extended the four-month period to no more than six months (September 14, 2007 - March 10, 2008).)

AD cash deposit requirements. CBP will require, at the same time as importers would normally deposit estimated duties on the subject merchandise, AD cash deposits at the rates listed below, for subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after March 18, 2008:
