fixed-wireless local service. ACS provides local dial tone through resold fixed wireless obtained from an affiliate, ACS Wireless. ACS in 2007 received $3 million in universal service subsidies for the Sitka study area, and it’s the only carrier serving the two complaining towns, the commission said.
