AD: China Light-Walled Rectangular Pipe and Tube

The International Trade Administration has made a preliminary affirmative antidumping duty determination that light-walled rectangular pipe and tube (LWR) from China is being, or is likely to be, sold in the U.S. at less than fair value.

Suspension of liquidation, critical circumstances for China-wide entity. The ITA has preliminarily determined that critical circumstances exist with respect to imports of LWR from the China-wide entity, and therefore it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation of all entries of LWR from the China-wide entity with a time of entry on or after 90 days prior to January 30, 2008.

For the mandatory respondents, Lets Win and ZZPC, and all of the separate rate applicants, the ITA will direct CBP to suspend liquidation of all entries of LWR from China with time of entry on or after January 30, 2008.

AD cash deposit or bond. The ITA will also instruct CBP to require a cash deposit or the posting of a bond at the AD rates listed below, for entries of subject merchandise from China with a time of entry on or after January 30, 2008 for the following exporters/producers and the China-wide entity:

Postponement of Final AD Duty Determination

In addition, the ITA states that it is postponing its final AD duty determination for LWR from China until not later than 135 days after January 30, 2008, and suspension of liquidation will be extended accordingly.
