Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (12/01/05 - 11/30/06)
The ITA intends to issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 15 days after December 4, 2007.
The ITA states that it has calculated a customer/importer-specific, per-unit assessment amount for entries of subject merchandise, which trade sources note may differ significantly from the cash deposit rate listed above.
The ITA adds that for entries of subject merchandise during the review period produced by Mukand for which it did not know its merchandise was destined for the U.S., the ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate unreviewed entries at the "all-others" rate if there is no rate for the intermediate company(ies) involved in the transaction.
