AD: Japan and Korea Glycine

The International Trade Administration has made final affirmative antidumping duty determinations that imports of glycine from Japan and Korea are being, or are likely to be, sold in the U.S. at less than fair value.

Critical circumstances, suspension of liquidation for Japan. The ITA has determined that critical circumstances exist with respect to all imports of glycine from Japan. Therefore, the ITA will direct CBP to suspend liquidation of all entries for all importers of subject merchandise with time of entry on or after 90 days before September 13, 2007 (the date of publication of the preliminary determination).

Suspension of liquidation for Korea. The ITA will instruct CBP to continue to suspend liquidation of all entries of glycine from Korea with a time of entry on or after September 13, 2007.

AD cash deposit/bond requirements. CBP will continue to require an AD cash deposit or the posting of a bond at the AD rates specified below (which are unchanged from the preliminary determinations) for entries of subject merchandise:
