Petitioner Requested Extension of Final Determination, Provisional Measures

The ITA states that Hubei Xingfa Chemicals Group Co., Ltd., the sole active mandatory respondent, requested a 60-day extension of the final determination and extension of the provisional measures.

Thus, because the ITA's preliminary determination was affirmative, and the respondent requesting an extension of the final determination and an extension of the provisional measures accounts for a significant proportion of exports of the subject merchandise, and no compelling reasons for denial exist, the ITA is extending the due date for the final determination by 60 days until January 22, 2008.

(See ITT's Online Archives or 09/17/07 news, 07091740, for BP summary of the ITA's preliminary affirmative AD duty determination.)
