AD: China Petroleum Wax Candles

The International Trade Administration has issued its final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of petroleum wax candles from China for the period of August 1, 2005 through July 31, 2006.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 09/13/07:

(a) For previously investigated companies not listed above, the AD duty cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period;

(b) For all other China exporters of subject merchandise which have not been found to be entitled to a separate rate, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the China-wide entity rate of 108.30%; and

(c) For all non-China exporters of subject merchandise, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the China supplier of that exporter.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (08/01/05 - 07/31/06)

The ITA states that it intends to issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 15 days after September 13, 2007.

The ITA adds that Deseado received a dumping margin based upon total adverse facts available; therefore, the ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate entries manufactured or exported by Deseado according to the AFA rate listed above.
