ITA Preliminarily Determines One Company is Successor, Other is Not
The ITA preliminarily finds that Tradewinds Furniture Ltd. (Tradewinds Furniture) is the successor-in-interest to Nanhai Jiantai Woodwork Co. (Nanhai Jiantai), but that Tradewinds International Enterprise Ltd. (Tradewinds Intl.) is not the successor-in-interest to Nanhai Jiantai's affiliated exporter, Fortune Glory Industrial Limited (Fortune Glory).
Tradewinds Furniture should receive Nanhai Jiantai's AD treatment. The ITA preliminarily determines that because Tradewinds Furniture is the successor-in-interest to Nanhai Jiantai, Tradewinds Furniture should be given the same AD duty treatment as Nanhai Jiantai.
Tradewinds Intl. should not receive Fortune Glory's AD treatment. The ITA preliminarily determines that because Tradewinds Intl. has not yet taken over the export functions of Fortune Glory, Tradewinds Intl. is not the successor-in-interest to Fortune Glory at this time and, therefore, should not be given the same AD duty treatment as Fortune Glory.
The ITA intends to issues the final results of this AD duty changed circumstances review no later than 270 days after July 23, 2007.
