The International Trade Administration (ITA) has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty changed circumstances review of the AD duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from China, to determine whether Tradewinds Furniture Ltd. Tradewinds Furniture/Tradewinds International Request Review to Confirm Successors-in-Interest
The ITA states that on November 22, 2006, Tradewinds Furniture and Tradewinds International filed a joint submission requesting that the ITA conduct a changed circumstances review to confirm that they are successors-in-interest to Nanhai Jaintai and Fortune Glory.
(According to the ITA, if the record demonstrates that, with respect to the production and sale of the subject merchandise, a new company operates as the same business entity as the predecessor company, the ITA may assign the new company the cash deposit rate of its predecessor.)
ITA Finds Expedited Action Not Warranted
The ITA finds that it would be inappropriate to expedite this action by combining the preliminary results of review with this notice of initiation. As a result, it is not issuing preliminary results for this changed circumstances review at this time.
Therefore, the preliminary results of this AD duty changed circumstances review will be published in the Federal Register and the ITA will issue the final results not later than 270 days after January 10, 2007, or within 45 days if all parties to the proceeding agree to the outcome of the review.
