The ITA is revoking the order with respect to all future entries for consumption of certain welded LDLP, as described below, effective October 26, 2006.

ITA Determines to Revoke AD Duty Order in Part

The ITA states that taking into consideration that (1) the petitioners have uniformly expressed that they do not want relief with respect to this particular sub-product, and that (2) there have been no contrary expressions from the remainder of the known domestic or U.S. LDLP producers, it is revoking, in part, the AD order on certain welded LDLP from Japan.

Specifically, the ITA has determined to revoke in part the AD duty order on certain welded LDLP from Japan with respect to API grade X-80 having an outside diameter of 21 inches and a wall thickness of 0.625 or more inches.

ITA Instructs CBP to Terminate Suspension of Liquidation for Future Entries

According to ITA sources, it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to terminate suspension of liquidation for future entries1 of certain welded LDLP meeting the specifications indicated above.

1 ITA sources have stated by phone that future entries are those with a time of entry on or after October 26, 2006.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, etc. See ITT's Online Archives or 10/12/06 news, 06101235, for BP summary of the preliminary results of this AD duty changed circumstances review.)
