Petitioners Request ITA Revoke AD Duty Order with Respect to Certain Product

According to the ITA, the petitioners are requesting that the ITA revoke the AD duty order with respect to API grade X-80 having an outside diameter of 21 inches, and with a wall thickness of 0.625 inch or more because they lack interest in continuation of the AD duty order with respect to this product.

The ITA states that although petitioners have expressed a lack of interest in the AD order with respect to the product in question, they did not claim that they represent substantially all of the production of the domestic like product, nor has the ITA made such a determination.

Therefore, the ITA states that it is not, at this time, preliminarily revoking the AD order with respect to the product in question.

The ITA notes that public comments are due no later than 15 days from August 14, 2006 and that the preliminary results of this AD duty changed circumstances review will be published in the Federal Register in accordance with 19 CFR 351.221(b)(4) and 351.221(c)(3)(i).

(See ITA notice for more details, including the scope of the order, etc.)
