CV: Iran Certain In-shell Pistachios

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its countervailing (CV) duty administrative review of certain in-shell pistachios from Iran for the period of January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004.

CV Cash Deposit Rates for a Time of Entry on or after 06/29/06:

a) The ITA states that if the exporter is not a firm covered in this CV duty administrative review, a prior review, or the original CV duty investigation, but the producer is, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the producer of the merchandise, and

b) If neither the exporter nor the producer is a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the original CV duty investigation, the cash deposit rate will continue to be 99.52%, the "all others" rate from the final determination in the original investigation.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (01/01/04 - 12/31/04)

According to ITA sources, the CV assessment rate for subject merchandise exported by Nima will be 71.10% for the review period.
