ITA to Determine if IVIS is Successor-in-Interest to Ivis Wood
In its request, IVIS stated that it purchased Ivis Wood, including equipment and inventory, and provided supporting documentation. According to the ITA, this constitutes changed circumstances warranting a review of the AD order. Therefore, the ITA is initiating a changed circumstances review based upon the information contained in IVIS' request.
The ITA states that if the evidence demonstrates that, with respect to the production and sale of the subject merchandise, the new company operates as the same business entity as its predecessor, the ITA will assign the new company the AD cash-deposit rate of its predecessor.
However, the ITA notes that the current requirement for a cash deposit of estimated AD duties on all subject merchandise will continue unless and until it is modified pursuant to the final results of this AD duty changed circumstances review.
- the ITA will publish a notice of its preliminary results of this AD duty changed circumstances review in the Federal Register and will issue its final results not later than 270 days after April 3, 2006
(See ITA notice for more information including the scope of the order, etc.)
