AD: Vietnam Certain Frozen Fish Fillets

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of certain frozen fish fillets from Vietnam for the period of January 1, 2003 through July 31, 2004.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 03/21/06:

Company
Vinh Hoan Company, Ltd.
Can Tho Agricultural and AnimalProducts Import Export Company (CATACO)
Vietnam-wide entity
Other companies

The Vietnam-wide entity includes Phan Quan Company, Ltd. (Phan Quan)

(a) For previously investigated companies not listed above, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period;

(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the original AD duty investigation, but the manufacturer is, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the merchandise; and

(c) The cash deposit rate for all other manufacturers or exporters (including Phan Quan) will be the Vietnam-wide rate of 63.88%.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (01/01/03 - 07/31/04)

The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within 15 days of March 21, 2006.

Additionally, the ITA states that it has calculated importer-specific duty assessment rates for subject merchandise, which trade sources note may differ significantly from the AD cash deposit rates listed above (which are weighted averages).
