AD: Korea Oil Country Tubular Goods, Other Than Drill Pipe

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of oil country tubular goods, other than drill pipe, from Korea for the period of August 1, 2003 through July 31, 2004.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 03/14/06:

(a) For previously investigated or reviewed companies not listed above, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the company-specific rate established for the most recent period;

(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the AD investigation, but the manufacturer is, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the subject merchandise; and

(c) If neither the exporter nor the producer is a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the AD investigation, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be 12.17%, the "All-Others" rate established in the final determination of the AD investigation.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (08/01/03 - 07/31/04)

The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within 15 days of March 14, 2006.

Additionally, the ITA states it has calculated importer-specific duty assessment rates for subject merchandise, which trade sources note may differ significantly from the AD cash deposit rates listed above (which are weighted averages).
