AD: China Wooden Bedroom Furniture

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has initiated new shipper reviews for the antidumping (AD) duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from China with respect to the following three companies, as both the exporter and producer, and review period:

Bonding Allowed in Lieu of AD Cash Deposit

The ITA states that until completion of these new shipper reviews, it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to allow, at the option of the importer, the posting of a bond or security in lieu of an AD cash deposit for entries of subject merchandise that are both produced and exported by each of the three companies listed above.

(In accordance with certain specified provisions of 19 CFR 351.214(b), the ITA states that Huanghouse, Senyuan, and First Wood provided the required certifications, as well as documentation, to initiate these AD duty new shipper reviews.)

-preliminary results of these AD duty new shipper reviews are due no later than 180 days from February 28, 2006, and the final results of this review are due no later than 270 days from February 28, 2006.
