The International Trade Administration (ITA) has initiated a new shipper review for the antidumping (AD) duty order on carbazole violet pigment 23 from India with respect to the following exporter/producer and review period:

Bonding Allowed in Lieu of Cash Deposit

The ITA states that until completion of the review, it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to allow, at the option of the importer, the posting of a bond or security in lieu of a cash deposit for each entry of the subject merchandise produced and exported by Gharda.

The ITA intends to issue the preliminary results of this AD duty new shipper review no later than 180 days after January 23, 2006. The ITA further states that it intends to issue the final results no later than 90 days after the date on which the preliminary results are issued.

(In accordance with certain specified provisions of 19 CFR 351.214(b), the ITA states that Gharda provided the required certifications/documentation necessary to initiate this new shipper review.)
