CompanyReview Period
El Mana S.A. (El Mana)(12/01/03 - 12/31/04)

The ITA preliminarily determined that the cooperative supplying El Mana with the subject merchandise had in its possession at the time of sale of the subject merchandise to El Mana, labels indicating the final destination of the subject merchandise as the U.S. According to the ITA, the totality of facts on the record led it to conclude that the cooperative had or should have had knowledge that the merchandise was destined for the U.S. The ITA states that because there was no request for a review of the cooperative's sale to El Mana and because El Mana made no other sales during the period of review, the ITA is rescinding this new shipper review.

Bonding No Longer Permitted (AD Cash Deposit Reinstated)

As a result, bonding (in lieu of an AD cash deposit) is no longer permitted to fulfill AD security requirements for shipments of honey from Argentina exported by El Mana that have a time of entry on or after December 2, 2005. The ITA adds that a cash deposit of 30.24% should be collected for any entries exported by El Mana.
