Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

The ITA explains that the petitioner made a timely request for postponement of the preliminary AD duty determination in order to allow the ITA additional time in which to review the responses of the respondent, and to issue any necessary request(s) for clarification and additional information.

According to the ITA, it is postponing the preliminary AD duty determination on subject merchandise from Japan for the reasons identified by the petitioner and also because there are no compelling reasons to deny the request. The ITA adds that the deadline for the final AD duty determination will continue to be 75 days after the date of the preliminary AD duty determination, unless extended.

(See ITT's Online Archives or 07/29/05 news, 05072930, for BP summary of the ITA's initiation of this AD duty investigation.)
