AD: Japan Superalloy Degassed Chromium

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has made a final affirmative antidumping (AD) duty determination that superalloy degassed chromium from Japan is being, or is likely to be, sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. The period of investigation for the subject merchandise from Japan is January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004.

Final Affirmative Antidumping Duty Determination

The ITA states that it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to continue to suspend liquidation of all imports of subject merchandise from Japan with a time of entry on or after August 18, 2005 and to require a cash deposit or posting of a bond at the unchanged AD duty rates listed below for entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after November 1, 2005:
