U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued an ABI administrative message regarding the preparation of the CBP form 7512 or ABI Application "QP." CBP states that whenever merchandise, which has been moved to a destination port on an in-bond transportation entry, is entered again for subsequent in-bond transportation (entry type 61, 62, and 63) the immediately preceding in-bond entry number must be recorded on the new CBP form 7512 with the indication "prev in-bond " or for filers using the ABI "QP" functionality to create an electronic in-bond movement, the previous in-bond number is included within the QP30 record, positions 57-68. CBP has issued an ABI administrative message announcing that the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) has terminated the 100% duty rates on certain products from the Ukraine. USTR sources have previously stated that the 100% duty rates were lifted for goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after August 30, 2005.
