The ITA states that in these final results, it continues to find that Western Forest Products Inc. (WFP) and its subsidiaries, WFP Products Limited, WFP Western Lumber Ltd., and WFP Lumber Sales Limited (collectively, the WFP Entities), are the successors-in-interest to Doman Industries Limited, Doman Forest Products Limited, and Doman Western Lumber Ltd. (collectively, the Doman Entities) for AD duty cash deposit purposes.
As a result, the ITA states that the WFP Entities should be accorded the same treatment previously accorded to the Doman Entities in regard to the AD duty order on certain softwood lumber products from Canada as of August 19, 2005.
According to the ITA, it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to suspend liquidation of all shipments of the subject merchandise produced and exported by the WFP Entities with a time of entry on or after August 19, 2005 at 3.78% (i.e., the Doman Entities' cash deposit rate).
The ITA states that this deposit rate will remain in effect until publication of the final results of the ongoing administrative review in which WFP Entities/Doman Entities are participating.
(See ITT's Online Archives or 07/07/05 news, 05070740, for BP summary of the preliminary results of this AD duty changed circumstances review, which also served as the initiation notice.)
