The ITA states that in these final results, it continues to find that Mittal Steel Point Lisas Limited (Mittal) is the successor-in-interest to Caribbean Ispat Limited (CIL) and, as a result, should be accorded the same treatment previously accorded to CIL in regard to the AD duty order on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Trinidad and Tobago as of July 6, 2005.
According to the ITA, it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to suspend liquidation of all shipments of the subject merchandise produced and exported by Mittal with a time of entry on or after July 6, 2005 at 3.61% (i.e. CIL's AD cash deposit rate).
The ITA states that this deposit rate will remain in effect until publication of the final results of the ongoing AD duty administrative review in which Mittal/CIL is participating.
(See ITT's Online Archives or 05/06/05 news, 05050630, for BP summary of the initiation and preliminary results of this AD duty changed circumstances review.)
