AD: Japan Stainless Steel Sheet and Strip in Coils

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from Japan for the period of July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004.

Final Results of AD Duty Administrative Review

AD Cash Deposit Rate for a Time of Entry On/After 06/30/05:

Company
Kawasaki Steel Corporation/JFE Steel Corporation
All Others

(a) for previously reviewed or investigated companies not listed above, the AD cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period;

(b) if the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the original investigation, but the manufacturer is, the AD cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the merchandise; and

(c) the AD cash deposit rate for all other manufacturers or exporters will continue to be 40.18%, the "all others" rate made effective in the original investigation.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (07/01/03 - 06/30/04)

The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to CBP within 15 days of June 30, 2005.
