AD: Brazil Carbon and Certain Alloy Steel Wire Rod
The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Brazil for the period of April 15, 2002 through September 30, 2003.

(a) for merchandise exported by producers or exporters not covered in this review but covered in the AD duty investigation, the cash deposit rate will continue to the be company-specific rate from the final determination;
(b) if the exporter is not a firm covered in this review or the investigation, but the producer is, the cash deposit rate will be that established for the producer of the merchandise in these final results of the AD duty administrative review or in the final determination; and
(c) if neither the exporter nor the producer is a firm covered in this review or in the investigation, the cash deposit rate will be 74.35%, the "all others" rate established in the AD duty investigation.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (04/15/02 - 09/30/03)
The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within 15 days of May 17, 2005.
The ITA also states that the AD duty assessment rate is importer-specific, and according to trade sources, may differ significantly from the AD cash deposit rates listed above.
