AD: China and Russia Magnesium Metal

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has amended its final affirmative antidumping (AD) duty determinations for magnesium metal from China and Russia. The amendments correct ministerial errors in the final margin calculations for certain companies and for Russia's "all others" rate.

Amended Final Affirmative AD Duty Determinations

As a result, the ITA states that it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to continue to suspend liquidation of all entries of subject merchandise from China and Russia with a time of entry on or after October 4, 2004 (the date that the preliminary determinations were published in the Federal Register).

In addition, the ITA states that it will instruct CBP to require a cash deposit or the posting of a bond equal to the revised or continuing AD margins below, for entries of subject merchandise from China or Russia that have a time of entry on or after March 29, 2005:
