AD: Taiwan Stainless Steel Sheet and Strip in Coils
The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from Taiwan for the period of July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003.

(a) For previously reviewed or investigated companies not listed above, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period;
(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, or a prior review, or the AD duty investigation, but the manufacturer is, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the merchandise; and
(c) If neither the exporter nor the manufacturer is a firm covered in these or any previous reviews conducted by the ITA, the cash deposit will be 12.61%, the "all others" rate.
1 The AD cash deposit rate for Yieh Mau Corporation, for whom the ITA has rescinded the review, will continue to be the rate assigned in an earlier segment of the proceeding.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (07/01/02 - 06/30/03)
The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within 15 days of February 15, 2005.
The ITA also states that the AD assessment rates are importer/customer-specific, and according to trade sources, may differ significantly from the AD cash deposit rates listed above.
