AD: Brazil Small Diameter Circular Seamless Carbon and Alloy Steel Standard, Line, and Pressure Pipe

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of small diameter circular seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from Brazil for the period of August 1, 2002 through July 31, 2003.

AD Cash Deposit Rate for a Time of Entry On/After 02/11/05:

The ITA has determined that VMB is the successor to Mannesmann, S.A.

(a) For merchandise exported by producers or exporters not covered in this AD duty administrative review but covered in the AD duty investigation, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate from the final AD duty determination;

(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this AD duty administrative review or the AD duty investigation, but the producer is, the cash deposit rate will be that established for the producer of the merchandise in these AD duty administrative review final results or in the final AD duty determination; and

(c) If neither the exporter nor the producer is a firm covered in this AD duty review or the AD duty investigation, the cash deposit rate will be 124.94%, the all others rate.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (08/01/02 - 07/31/03)

The ITA states that it has calculated importer-specific AD duty assessment rates for affected entries (which may be different from the AD duty cash deposit rates listed above) and will issue appropriate assessment instructions to CBP within 15 days of February 11, 2005.
