AD: France Stainless Steel Sheet and Strip in Coils

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from France for the period of July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003.

Final Results of AD Duty Administrative

AD Cash Deposit Rate for a Time of Entry On/After 02/11/05:

Company Antidumping (AD) Rate or Note
Ugine & ALZ France, S.A. (UA France)9.65%
All others(a),(b),(c)

(a) for previously review or investigated companies other than UA France, the cash deposit rate will be the company-specific rate established for the most recent period;

(b) if the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review or the AD duty investigation, but the manufacturer is, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the subject merchandise; and

(c) if neither the exporter nor the manufacturer is a firm covered by this review, a prior review, or the AD investigation, the cash deposit rate will be 9.38%, the all others rate.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (07/01/02 - 06/30/03)

The ITA states that it will determine and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will assess AD duties on all appropriate entries. The ITA adds that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to CBP within 15 days of February 11, 2005.
