AD: Mexico Stainless Steel Sheet and Strip in Coils

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from Mexico for the period of July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003.

Final Results of AD Duty Administrative Review

AD Cash Deposit Rate for a Time of Entry On/After 01/26/05

is still included in this review and the term "Mexinox" refers to both ThyssenKrupp Mexinox S.A. de C.V. and Mexinox USA, Inc.

(a) The ITA states that if the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the original AD duty investigation, but the manufacturer is, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the merchandise; and

(b) The cash deposit rate for all other manufacturers or exporters will continue to be the all others rate of 30.85%.

Assessment Instructions for Review Period (07/01/02 - 06/30/03)

The ITA states that it will determine and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will assess AD duties on all appropriate entries. The ITA adds that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to CBP within 15 days of January 26, 2005.
