Antidumping Duty Investigation Terminated

The ITA states that it is terminating this investigation as the petitioners have withdrawn their AD petition.

Suspension of Liquidation, Cash Deposit/Bond Requirement Discontinued

As a result, the ITA has instructed U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to discontinue suspension of liquidation of shipments of subject merchandise with a time of entry on/after December 17, 2004. In addition, CBP states that all estimated AD duties deposited on entries of subject merchandise will be returned and the bonds or other security released at the time of liquidation.

(On October 8, 2004, the ITA published its preliminary affirmative AD duty determination which required a cash deposit or posting of a bond of 73.17% for entries of subject merchandise from China with a time of entry on/after October 8, 2004. See ITT's Online Archives or 10/12/04 news, 04101240, for BP summary of the ITA's preliminary determination.)
