AD: Belgium Stainless Steel Plate in Coils

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of the antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of stainless steel plate in coils from Belgium for the period of May 1, 2002 through April 30, 2003.

Final Results of AD Duty Administrative Review

*The ITA finds that U&A Belgium is the successor to ALZ, N.V.

(a) For previously reviewed or investigated companies other than U&A Belgium, the cash deposit rate will be the company-specific rate established for the most recent period;

(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this AD duty administrative review, a prior review, or the AD duty investigation, but the producer is, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the subject merchandise; and

(c) If neither the exporter nor the manufacturer is a firm covered by this AD duty administrative review, a prior review, or the AD duty investigation, the cash deposit rate will be the all others rate established in the AD duty investigation of 9.86%.

Assessment Instructions for Review Period (05/01/02 - 04/30/03)

The ITA states that it will determine and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will assess AD duties on all appropriate entries. The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to CBP within 15 days of December 14, 2004.
