India Group II Quota Is "On Hold" and Close to Filling

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data, as of December 4, 2004, the India Group II quota is 99.9% filled and is "on hold."

India Group II contains cats 200, 201, 220, 224-227, 237, 239, 300, 301, 331, 332, 333,

  1. , 359, 360-362, 603, 604, 611-620, 624-629, 631, 633, 638, 639, 643-646, 652, 659, 666, 845, 846, and 852 as a group.

India Group II was increased on August 30, 2004 and November 9, 2004. According to U.S. government sources, India Group II has no flexibility remaining for 2004.
