AD: China Certain Preserved Mushrooms
The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued its final results of the antidumping (AD) duty new shipper review of certain preserved mushrooms from China for the period of February 1, 2003 through July 31, 2003.

As a result, the ITA states that bonding is no longer permitted to fulfill security requirements for shipments of certain preserved mushrooms from China from Guangxi Hengxian with a time of entry on or after November 1, 2004.
For shipments with a time of entry on or after November 1, 2004, suspension of liquidation will continue for the affected companies at the AD cash deposit rates (equal to the weighted average margin percentage) listed below:

(a) The AD cash deposit rate for subject merchandise produced and exported by Guangxi Hengxian is zero; however, suspension of liquidation will continue.
(b) The AD cash deposit rate for subject merchandise exported by Guangxi Hengxian but not produced by it continues to be the China-wide rate of 198.63%.
(c) The AD cash deposit rate for subject merchandise produced but not exported by Guangxi Hengxian is the rate applied to the exporter.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (02/01/03 - 07/31/03)
According to the ITA, it will determine and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will assess AD duties on all appropriate entries. The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to CBP within 15 days of November 1, 2004.
