The ITA explains that Clearon Corporation and Occidental Chemical Corporation, the petitioners to these proceedings, made timely requests for such a postponement so that they and the ITA can analyze more fully the information that has been submitted in these investigations, as well as analyze information that is due to be filed in early October 2004. In granting this request for postponement, the ITA found no compelling reasons to deny the petitioners' request.
The ITA adds that the deadline for the final AD duty determinations will continue to be 75 days after the date of the preliminary determinations, unless extended.
(See ITT's Online Archives or 06/15/04 news, 04061550, for BP summary of the initiation of these AD duty investigations.)
