Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (01/01/02 - 12/31/02)

The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to CBP within 15 days of publication of these final results of reviews.

However, the ITA states that pending the final disposition of North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) dispute settlement proceedings, it will not order the liquidation of entries of pure or alloy magnesium from Canada exported by NHCI on or after January 1, 2002, through December 31, 2002. The ITA states that liquidation of NHCI entries will occur at the rates described in these final results of reviews, if appropriate, following the final judgment in these proceedings.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the review. See ITT's Online Archives or 05/27/04 news, 04052745 for BP summary of the preliminary results of this countervailing duty administrative review.)
