New Shipper Reviews Rescinded for Two Companies (Bonding No Longer an Option)

The ITA states that it is rescinding the AD duty new shipper review of freshwater crawfish tail meat from China with respect to Yancheng Fuda Foods Co., Ltd. (Yancheng Fuda), as both exporter and producer and Siyang Foreign Trade Corporation (Siyang), as exporter and Anhui Golden Bird Agricultural & Side-Line Products Development Co., Ltd. (Golden Bird) as producer.

As a result of these rescissions, the ITA states that it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that bonding is no longer permitted and that the "China-wide" cash deposit rate of 223.01% must be collected for all entries exported by Yancheng Fuda and Siyang.

Within 15 days of September 2, 2004, the ITA will issue assessment instructions to CBP to liquidate the entries from the above-described exporters/producers during the period of review at the cash deposit rate in effect on the date of entry.

Bonding Continues to be Allowed for Qingdao Xiyuan

The ITA states that Qingdao Xiyuan, as exporter and producer, may continue to post a bond in lieu of an AD cash deposit, until the final results of this AD duty new shipper review are published.
