AD: South Africa Certain Aluminum Plate

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a notice stating that at the request of the respondent, Hulett Aluminium (Pty) Limited (Hulett), it has postponed the final antidumping (AD) duty determination on certain aluminum plate from South Africa until no later than October 4, 2004.

Postponement of Fin

The ITA also states that at the request of Hulett, it has extended the provisional measures (suspension of liquidation and AD cash deposit/bond requirements) accordingly.

The ITA states that because the preliminary AD duty determination was affirmative, Hulett accounts for a significant proportion of exports of the subject merchandise, and no compelling reasons for denial exist, it is extending the due date for the final AD duty determination until 135 days after May 21, 2004 (the date of publication of the preliminary AD duty determination).
