According to the ITA, Yamato Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Yamato Kogyo) advised the ITA that the firm had conducted a corporate reorganization, resulting in the formation of Yamato Steel Co., Ltd. (Yamato Steel) which assumed all steel and heavy industry operations formerly held by Yamato Kogyo.

As a result, the ITA states that it preliminarily determines that Yamato Steel is the successor-in-interest to Yamato Kogyo for purposes of determining AD duty liability in this proceeding. Thus, with respect to subject merchandise, the ITA has preliminarily determined that Yamato Steel should receive the same zero percent AD duty cash deposit rate as Yamato Kogyo.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the review. See ITT's Online Archives or 01/09/04 news, 04010940 for BP summary of the initiation of this AD duty changed circumstances review.)
